- European Union & EEA: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), applicable in Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.
- United Kingdom: UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- United Arab Emirates: Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 regarding Personal Data Protection (UAE PDPL).

2. Information We Collect and Process
Our guiding principle is minimal data collection and on-device processing. We do not require you to create an account or provide your legal name, physical address, or phone number to use the core features of the Application.
a. Locally Stored Data (On-Device Only)
The following study metrics are stored locally on your device (and synced via Apple iCloud if you have iCloud Drive enabled):
- Exam simulation scores, test completion history, and answer logs.
- Identified mistake questions and spaced-repetition training states.
- Selected country market (e.g. Norway, UK, UAE) and preferred interface languages.
- Streak counts, daily study goals, and notification reminder schedules.
b. Technical and Anonymous Usage Analytics
To ensure app stability and correct syllabus formatting, we may collect aggregated, non-identifiable technical diagnostics, such as crash logs, OS version, device model, and anonymous session performance. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.
c. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
All financial transactions, subscriptions, and purchases are processed directly by Apple through StoreKit / App Store (or Google Play on Android). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or banking details. Apple or Google provides us only with an anonymous transaction token to unlock premium features.
3. Use of Information
We use collected data solely to:
- Deliver driving theory test questions, explanations, and traffic sign databases tailored to your chosen jurisdiction.
- Calculate your passing probability and personalize weak-area revision questions.
- Maintain and improve app functionality, fix crashes, and ensure content integrity.
- Comply with statutory legal obligations.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data under any circumstances.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Content questions are synchronized from Google Cloud Firestore REST endpoints using secure TLS encryption.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you hold statutory rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Right of Access and Portability: Request confirmation of data processed.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can completely erase all stored study history and progress at any time directly in the Application under Settings → Reset Study Progress.
- Right to Restrict or Object to Processing: Opt out of optional diagnostic analytics within settings.
6. Children's Privacy
The Application is designed for learner drivers preparing for official licensing examinations. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions).
7. Independent Non-Governmental Disclaimer
The Application is an independent commercial educational preparation tool. It is not owned, operated, endorsed by, or affiliated with any government transport department or statutory licensing agency (including the DVSA in the UK, Statens vegvesen in Norway, Trafikverket in Sweden, RTA in Dubai, NPA in Japan, or equivalent authorities). Official test booking must be made through respective official government portals.
